Family Environment and Services in Communities for Children of Armenia

This project aimed to promote the Universal Inclusive System of Secondary Education in three Marzes of Armenia, namely Shirak, Gegharkunik, and Kotayk. A total of 3107 teachers from 401 mainstream schools were trained and empowered with inclusive teaching and learning strategies.
Moreover, the project supported the transformation of four special schools into pedagogical-psychological support services for inclusive schools. This resulted in children with disabilities from these special boarding schools being able to return to their families and integrate into inclusive schools seamlessly.
Overall, the project was successful in enhancing the inclusivity of the secondary education system in these three Marzes, benefiting both students and their families.
