From capacity building towards better inclusion for children with disabilities in Armenia
During the years of 2008-2009 the project supported to improve the teamwork, roles and responsibilities within the existing inclusive schools, to lobby for a universal organizational rule for all-inclusive schools, based on accumulated experience and knowledge and best practices, as well as to create a workable channel for exchange and networking with all the players in government and civil society sectors who are concerned in promoting inclusive education and Education for All in Armenia. It is also recommended by UNESCO that Education for All calls for forceful capacity-building and networking. The universal organizational rules and the development of knowledge in Inclusive schools will improve quality and increase access to education for those children who are traditionally excluded from mainstream education system because of their differences and special needs.
