IDEA – Intersectoral Dialogue, empowerment and Actions for Inclusion of Youth in Europe
The project partnership aims to strengthen the efforts towards the inclusion of youth from vulnerable backgrounds by encouraging, enabling, and disseminating cross-sectoral cooperation at national and European levels. The partnership firmly believes that exchanging experiences of good practices and cross-sectoral cooperation among organizations both from Armenia and the European countries of Austria, Slovakia, Romania, and Spain that work with different target groups can enhance inclusion efforts in various fields – education, employment, and social inclusion. This, in turn, can improve the situation for vulnerable young people facing fewer opportunities and bring inclusion to the forefront of public discourse.
The project goal is to establish cross-sectoral networks at both national and international levels to develop inclusion methodologies for organizations working with young people in various settings and working with media. These methodologies and the work with media will be based on best practices from different fields of expertise.
As a partner of the project NGO “Bridge of Hope has a commitment to:
- Development of Training Manual: Bridge of Hope plays a key role in developing a comprehensive training manual for NGOs. This manual will provide guidelines and strategies for NGOs on how to effectively work with media and promote disability-inclusive media outlets and publications. The manual will likely cover topics such as engaging with journalists, crafting media messages, and utilizing various media platforms.
- Promotion of Disability-Inclusive Media Outlets and Publications: Bridge of Hope will work towards promoting media outlets and publications that prioritize disability inclusion. This could involve identifying and collaborating with existing media platforms that actively represent the rights and perspectives of people with disabilities. Bridge of Hope may engage in advocacy efforts to encourage media organizations to adopt more inclusive practices.
- Organization of Media Contest: The NGO will be responsible for organizing a media contest focused on recognizing and rewarding excellence in promoting human rights and equal opportunities for people with disabilities. The contest will encompass various media formats, including TV, radio, printed media, and multimedia publications. Bridge of Hope will coordinate the contest logistics, such as setting up judging panels, establishing evaluation criteria, and managing the submission process.
Partnership Coordination: As a partner in the project, Bridge of Hope will collaborate with the other participating NGOs from Austria, Spain, Slovakia, and Romania. They will actively contribute to discussions, share expertise and resources, and ensure effective coordination among the partners. Bridge of Hope will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration and maintaining communication throughout the project’s duration.
