Inclusive Playground in Ijevan

Bridge of Hope NGO is implementing the Inclusive Playground Project at the Child Development and Social Inclusion Center in Ijevan, Tavush Marz.
The project aims to create a safe, accessible, and inclusive outdoor play space where children with and without disabilities can play, learn, and grow together. The new playground will feature a wheelchair-accessible swing, adaptive climbing structures, and an inclusive carousel, allowing every child to participate in play, movement, and social interaction.
Beyond fun and play, this initiative promotes inclusion, friendship, and equal participation, helping more than 200 children — including those with disabilities, from vulnerable families, and displaced communities — to develop confidence, physical skills, and a strong sense of belonging.
