Provision of Pedagogical and Psychological Support Services to Children in Tavush Marz
The project is to support the inclusion and meaningful participation of children with disabilities and special needs in 53 preschools, 82 secondary schools, and 6 vocational schools by providing pedagogical and psychological support services to 550 children, 1800 teachers, and parents.
Objectives:
- Enhance the academic and social development of children with disabilities and special needs.
- Improve the implementation of individualized education plans for children with disabilities.
- Increase the knowledge and skills of pedagogical staff in inclusive teaching practices.
- Empower parents to actively participate in their children’s education.
- Foster positive perceptions and attitudes towards children with disabilities within the community.
Activities:
- Provide pedagogical and psychological support services to 550 children.
- Conduct training programs for 1800 teachers to enhance their inclusive teaching competencies.
- Support to development and implementation of individualized education plans for children with disabilities.
- Organize workshops and awareness campaigns to engage parents and promote their involvement in their children’s education.
- Conduct community sensitization activities to reduce stigma and discrimination.
