“Seeders of Culture” Art Club
“Seeders of Culture” Art Club
This small-scale project is part of Bridge of Hope’s rehabilitation program, “Sustainable Future for Children with Disabilities in Armenia,” and aims to support 40 children and youth with disabilities in the Ijevan community of Tavush Marz. By providing opportunities to develop skills and talents in tapestry and glass painting, the project fosters social inclusion and the well-being of its beneficiaries by supporting their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Additionally, the project immerses the children in Armenian cultural heritage, helping them become bearers of Armenian cultural values and identity.
Various creative activities are designed for the Art Club, including tapestry, glass painting, and designing workshops. These workshops not only nurture artistic talents but also help the children develop essential soft skills.
As a result, they build strong interpersonal relationships, effective communication, and positive behavior, enabling them to interact effectively with peers, solve problems, and adapt to changing situations. The art club is set up with relevant equipment and supplies.
The project is implemented within the framework of the EU4Culture Ijevan/ Ijevan “We are our mountains” program funded by the European Union, with the support of the Ijevan Municipality and the Urban Sustainable Development Fund.
