Sport for Equal Opportunities
The project aimed at promoting the social inclusion of children with disabilities through sports. This project seeks to provide children with disabilities an opportunity to participate in sports activities, improving their physical and mental health, fostering social skills, and enhancing self-confidence. The project is to create an inclusive football program in 16 schools in Tavush Marz.
Objective 1: To establish an inclusive football program in schools that provide equal opportunities for children with disabilities to participate in a team sport.
Activities:
- Collaborate with 16 inclusive schools to establish inclusive football teams.
- Provide comprehensive training to coaches and team managers on inclusive coaching methods.
- Organize regular football practice sessions for inclusive teams, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and camaraderie.
- Arrange friendly matches with other schools in the area to encourage healthy competition and promote social inclusion.
- Conduct workshops for teachers and school administrators on inclusive sports education.
