Support for Vocational orientation of Children with Disabilities in Yerevan and Tavush

Bridge of Hope’s goal is to help 150 children with disabilities in Yerevan and in Tavush Marz develop the skills they need to succeed in life, including vocational skills. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore different career paths and develop essential vocational skills. That’s why we’re raising funds to establish vocational orientation clubs in Dilijan, Ijevan, Berd, and Noyemberyan cities of Tavush Marz.

Our clubs will offer a range of activities and workshops that will help children explore different career paths, develop essential vocational skills, and gain hands-on vocational training. From career exploration and resume building to interview skills and workplace etiquette, we will provide a comprehensive range of resources and support to ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed.

Through our workshops, children will have the opportunity to learn from professionals in various industries, meet with potential employers, and develop the skills they need to succeed in today’s competitive job market. We will also provide hands-on vocational training in various areas, such as:

Graphic design: This workshop can help children develop skills in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, which are commonly used in the industry.

Photography and videography: Children can learn the basics of photography and videography, including camera handling, lighting, and editing, and explore different career paths such as photojournalism or documentary filmmaking.

3D Printing: This workshop can introduce children to the technology of 3D printing and help them design and create their own 3D objects.

Culinary arts: This workshop can teach children about the art of cooking and baking, including meal planning, food safety, and presentation.

Horticulture: Children can learn about different plants, gardening techniques, and landscape design, and explore career paths such as horticulturist or landscaper.

Entrepreneurship: This workshop can help children learn the basics of starting and running a business, including marketing, finance, and customer service.

Your donation will help us establish and sustain these vocational orientation clubs, providing a safe and supportive environment where children with disabilities can explore their potential and develop the skills they need to succeed in life. With your support, we can empower children with disabilities in Tavush Marz to build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
