Mariam Yesayan

Tavush Marz, village Chinchin

I am Mariam, a confident and accomplished individual who embraces her right to live an independent and dignified life. I make my own decisions, engage in meaningful work, and cultivate connections and relationships within my community. Through my very existence, I challenge stereotypes, tirelessly advocate for the removal of both visible and invisible barriers, and set an example that assures people that I, like anyone else, can work, live independently, and contribute to the vitality of our community.

To me, “Bridge of Hope” NGO symbolizes a school where kindness and support reign, and it is within this nurturing environment that I discovered my true potential. Armed with newfound knowledge and skills, I transformed into a responsible and engaged citizen, dedicating myself to the fight for education, employment, and a dignified life for hundreds of children and young individuals facing circumstances similar to mine. After completing my schooling, I pursued further education at Ijevan State University, obtaining a degree in pedagogy and psychology. Today, I proudly serve as a teacher’s assistant in my hometown school in Chinchin village, where I actively support educators in creating an inclusive learning environment that ensures every child is included in the educational process and achieves their desired academic outcomes.

As a member of “Bridge of Hope”, I continue to contribute to the realization of our organization’s mission through my work and involvement. Together, we strive to make a lasting impact and create a society that values the rights and potential of all individuals, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities.
