Meri Hovesepyan
Dilijan, Tavush Marz
I live in the Dilijan community of Tavush Marz. Ever since I was a child, I felt different from my peers. I couldn’t play and run around like everyone else.
At the age of 3, I visited the Dilijan branch of the “Bridge of Hope” NGO, which turned out to be a pivotal moment in my life. This small corner gave me wings and propelled me forward, allowing me to achieve both small and significant victories.
I was eventually enrolled in school, where I initially struggled to interact with my peers and often isolated myself. However, things gradually changed. Over time, I grew stronger, more self-confident, and above all, determined to pursue my education and a profession. I successfully completed my studies at Dilijan State College.
All my accomplishments are a result of the close collaboration between my mother and the entire staff of “Bridge of Hope”. Even to this day, the organization continues to support me, providing encouragement, strength, and guidance during critical junctures in my life.
Currently, I am actively involved as a volunteer at the “Bridge of Hope” NGO. Through my journey, I strive to challenge societal stereotypes and serve as an example for others, demonstrating that there are no limitations in this world if one possesses unwavering determination.
I, along with thousands of individuals like me, am part of the transformative force that is changing the world.
